Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....
SAFETY
We do not accept or serve any dogs displaying aggressive behavior to ensure a safe grooming experience. If a dog exhibits behavior that prevents us from completing the service safely, the full grooming fee will still be charged. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation .
ELDERLY DOG
Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk, if done at all. Grooming may expose pre-existing health skin conditions for which THE BOW WOW SALON cannot be held liable.
DEMATTING
We do NOT "De Mat." If there is minor matting, we will do our best to gently remove the mats with a combo of products and tools. However if the matting is severe we will either have to shave your pup or return them. Every effort will be made to protect their skin and coat while removing the hair. The skin can become sensitive and incur clipper marks, abrasions, cuts, rashes, nicks, itchiness or redness where matting was severe. in some cases, Matting removed from ears can cause hematoma's (swelling of blood) to the tips of the ears. YOU AGREE TO NOT HOLD THE BOW WOW SALON RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROBLEMS RESULTING FROM THE GROOMING SERVICE OF YOUR MATTED PET.
VACCINE REQUIREMENTS
NEW CLIENTS- MUST BRING PROOF OF VACCINATIONS Medical records with proof of Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations (must be up to date).PLEASE INFORM US AND OUR GROOMERS OF ANY PREVIOUS OR CURRENT MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
IN THE EVENT OF EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize THE BOW WOW SALON to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
Payment is to be made at the time of service.
PICK UP POLICY
We ask for a prompt pick up & pets left in our care after 30 minutes of pick up notice will result in a after care fee of $20
Pets not not picked up by 5pm closing time could be charged an additional $30+
CANCELLATION POLICY
To ensure fairness for all clients, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations. In cases where there are repeated "no show" appointments for your pet, we may request a deposit or a credit card on file and may incur a 50% charge of the appointment fee. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
